Gruber Phillips is a boutique-style, privately owned service agency whose principals have cultivated an expertise in successfully supporting the goals of clients in the Economic Development industry and Corporate New Business Development since 1994.

    The Founder

Since 1987, Amy Gruber Phillips has managed sales, marketing and research teams, representing organizations that manufacture and/or sell tangible goods as well as those that offer intangible services.  Her corporate work-experience includes executive management positions at Broadcast Music Incorporated, MISCO Computer Supplies (now Global Computer Systems) and Group C Communications (publishers of Business Facilities Magazine and Today’s Facility Manager).

Amy’s mentor, Lee Van Vechten, founded the American Telemarketing Association and earned a worldwide reputation for developing strong managers and successful inside sales and marketing teams. Mr. Van Vechten’s training methods, sales techniques and performance and results monitoring procedures are incorporated into all Gruber Phillips programs.

Amy is a graduate of Michigan State University where she majored in Television & Radio with a curriculum that encompassed not only Radio and TV applications, but also Marketing Science with an emphasis on Communication and Presentation skills. Amy also pursued multiple minors in Music and Sociology.

In addition to her current role as President/CEO of Gruber Phillips International, Amy also is a composer and occasionally appears with a musical combo in NYC and New Jersey.

The diverse nature of Amy’s academic, business and personal pursuits has established a well-rounded foundation for building creative teams and for providing agile, refreshed and effective support to the goals of Gruber Phillips’ diverse client base.
